Word of the Day

Today's word is actually a verb, it is опаздывать. In english opazdivat (again the o is more of an a).
It means to be late. I chose this word because here it doesn't matter that much if you are on time because almost everyone relies on the public transportation. And if there's an accident, like there was today (and overturned police van...), then everyone is late no matter what so i think it is a very good word to know.
If you want to say I am late it is я опаздиваю ... ya opazdivau.
She/he is late: она/он опаздивает ... ona/on opazdivaet
You are late: ты опаздиваешь ... ti opazdivaesh
You (formal/plural): вы опаздиваете ... vi opazdivaete
We are late: мы опаздиваем ... mi opazdivaem
They are late: они опаздивают ... oni opazdivaut
