Today's word is курорт. In english koorort.
It means resort. I chose this word because Sochi is a resort town and that is where we are headed in two days!! Soon I will be able to say I have been to the city where the 2014 Winter Olympics will be held, where part of the 2018 World Cup will take place and where Stalin loved to go on vacation. Needless to say I'm quite excited :)
